Vietnam Veterans' Legacies 

My name is Matthew Pollack.  I am currently a high school student, and I have had a life-long interest in history.   History affects all of our lives, and so it is important to not forget and learn from our past.  Wars and conflicts have a particularly far-reaching impact.

Every soldier's story is unique and should be remembered, whether or not that soldier made it back home or not.  Every soldier's service changed the course of his or her life, as well as that of their families and communities.

The World War II museum has an archive of veteran's interviews, and the Korean war has a website dedicated to the same thing.  Vietnam veterans should also have a repository for their experiences, because nothing is as meaningful as a first-hand account.
